The promise of e-commerce is more business, but the reality is often more chaos. Why? Because your operational capacity - the number of cakes you can bake, the bouquets you can arrange - is your ultimate limit. You need technology that respects that limit. Your software should be a powerful ally that adapts to your workflow, not a rigid system that forces you to compromise on quality or sanity.

We believe your scheduling tool should conform to your business, not the other way around.

Today, we are thrilled to announce a landmark update that puts you firmly back in control. The CX Elevate Version 1.1.4, released in October 2025, is our most powerful and merchant-focused release ever. We’ve built a suite of new, granular controls that allow you to shape our app to the unique operational DNA of your business. This is more than just an update; it's a new operational philosophy.

How Our New Dynamic Rules Transform Your Workflow

The centerpiece of the CX Elevate Version 1.1.4 is a trio of game-changing new Dynamic Rules. These tools were built to provide an unprecedented level of precision over your fulfillment capacity, allowing you to optimize your workflow and maximize profitability.

Rule #1: Daily Order Limits by Product or Collection

This powerful new rule gives you precision control over your daily fulfillment capacity. Instead of a single, store-wide limit, you can now set specific daily order caps for individual products or entire collections.

How It Works:

Using a simple IF/THEN structure, you define the rule. For instance, as shown in the example, you can create a rule that targets your "Seafood" collection, limiting it to just 10 delivery orders and 15 pickup orders per day.

Once the 10th delivery order for a seafood item is placed for a specific Saturday, that date will automatically become unavailable for seafood delivery. Crucially, your customers can still order seafood for pickup on Saturday (until its own limit is reached), and they can still order any other item from your store (like cheese or wine) for any fulfillment method.

Rule #1: Daily Order Limits by Product or Collection

Use-Case Examples:

- Bakeries: Limit the number of complex, labor-intensive custom cakes per day to avoid overwhelming your decorators.

- Florists: Cap the number of large, intricate wedding arrangements you can create on a weekend to ensure quality.

- Catering Companies: Set a limit on the number of "Full-Service Catering Packages" you can handle on a given day due to staffing or equipment constraints.

- Rental Businesses: If you have 10 bounce houses, you can set a daily limit of 10 for your "Bounce House" product to prevent overbooking.

Strategic Advantage: This is the precision control that allows you to maximize profitability. You can protect the fulfillment capacity for your most valuable, high-margin products, ensuring you never have to turn away a big sale because your schedule was filled with smaller, less profitable items. This feature of the CX Elevate Version 1.1.4 is a powerful tool for profit optimization.

Rule #2: Product-Specific Time Slot Windows

This new rule allows you to assign specific, limited time slot windows to certain products or collections, perfect for items that are only available during certain hours.

How It Works:

Using an IF/THEN structure, you can create a rule as shown in the example:

- IF a customer adds the "Tulips - Romance Bouquet" product to their cart...

- THEN the calendar will automatically filter to show only 30-minute time slots between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

The app's conditional logic is smart: if a customer adds other items to the cart, the calendar will only show the time slots that are valid for the entire order, ensuring a seamless checkout.

Rule #2: Product-Specific Time Slot Windows

Use-Case Examples:

- Restaurants: Offer your "Lunch Specials" collection only for pickup or delivery between 11 AM and 2 PM.

- Gourmet Grocers: Allow your "Fresh Seafood" products, which arrive daily, to only be available for afternoon and evening delivery slots.

- Service Businesses: A bike shop could offer its "Same-Day Tune-Up" service only in the morning to allow time for completion.

Strategic Advantage: This powerful feature in the CX Elevate Version 1.1.4 eliminates order errors at the source. It ensures customers can only select valid fulfillment times for the specific products they are buying, leading to a smarter, more intuitive checkout experience and a significant reduction in customer service issues.

Rule #3: The "Business Day" Processing Time Buffer

Our popular Processing Time Buffer rule now includes a crucial "business day" option, allowing your lead times to automatically respect your real-world work week.

How It Works:

As shown in the example, you can set a Process delay (days), such as 3 days. Crucially, you can now choose to "Count processing days as business days only (Mon-Fri)."

This means if a customer places an order on a Thursday (October 16th in the example), the app will intelligently skip Saturday and Sunday. The 3-business-day buffer will count Friday (day 1), Monday (day 2), and Tuesday (day 3), making the first available fulfillment date Wednesday, October 22nd (note: the example screenshot has a slight date error, but this is the correct logic).

Rule #3: The "Business Day" Processing Time Buffer

Use-Case Examples:

- Print Shops: A 3-business-day buffer on custom print orders ensures you have ample time for printing and drying, regardless of when the order is placed.

- Caterers: A 5-business-day lead time for large event orders gives you the necessary time to source ingredients and schedule staff, without having to worry about weekend orders causing a Monday morning scramble.

Strategic Advantage: This small but critical addition to the CX Elevate Version 1.1.4 provides peace of mind. It fully automates your lead time calculations, protecting your production schedule and ensuring you always have the time you need to deliver a high-quality product.

Building Operational Harmony: More Control, More Clarity

Beyond the major new rules, this update brings a host of other additions and improvements designed to create a smoother, more efficient workflow for you and your team.

Independent Restriction Calendars for Delivery & Pickup

Your delivery driver's vacation schedule is not the same as your in-store holiday closures. With the CX Elevate Version 1.1.4, you now have separate restriction calendars for delivery and pickup.

Independent Restriction Calendars for Delivery & Pickup

This means you can now block out next Monday for delivery because your driver is unavailable, while still keeping your store open and accepting pickup orders for that day. This dual-calendar system provides the flexibility to manage your two distinct fulfillment channels without having to compromise or turn off your entire online ordering system. It’s a must-have feature for any business running a hybrid local commerce model.
