We are looking for a true Product Marketer who understands that marketing a SaaS product isn't about listing features—it's about selling a new way of working. It's about deeply understanding a customer's pain point and positioning our product as the indispensable solution.

Your Mission: What You'll Own & Drive

This isn't a role where you'll just be executing tasks. You will be the strategic engine for our growth, bridging the gap between our product and the market. Your mission will be to:

  1. Master Our Positioning & Messaging: Become the expert on our customers, their pain points, and the competitive landscape. You'll craft the compelling narrative that articulates our unique value and cuts through the noise of the Shopify App Store.
  2. Architect the Customer Journey: Design and implement a marketing strategy that guides potential users from awareness to advocacy. This is about building trust by providing immense value upfront through strategic content, not just pushing for a quick conversion.
  3. Fuel Our Growth with Strategic Content: Develop and execute a content strategy (blog posts, case studies, webinars, tutorials) that doesn't just rank on Google, but establishes Autoserve as a trusted authority in the Shopify ecosystem. Every piece of content should educate, solve a problem, and naturally lead users to our solutions.
  4. Drive Product-Led Growth: Collaborate directly with the product team to influence the roadmap. You'll use customer insights to improve user onboarding, identify opportunities for growth loops within the apps, and ensure our product marketing is a seamless extension of the user experience.
  5. Own the Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: From launching new apps to releasing major features, you will own the plan. You'll define the audience, craft the message, select the channels (Paid Ads, SEO, Community, Partnerships), and measure the results, focusing on profitable, sustainable growth.

  • Understand Product-Led SaaS Marketing: You get the nuances of selling to Shopify merchants. It’s not traditional, long-cycle B2B. It’s a fast-paced environment where you need to blend strategic thinking with direct-to-consumer tactics to win over savvy entrepreneurs.
  • Think 'Positioning' Before 'Promotion': You instinctively look for a product's differentiated value and the specific market segment that will care the most.
  • Are a Hands-On Executor & Fast Learner: You are a 'full-stack' marketer who moves from strategy to execution seamlessly. You’re comfortable using modern, no-code tools (like Webflow to build a landing page or Canva to create graphics) to get the job done quickly. Your ability to learn a new tool is more important than mastery of any single platform.
  • Are Customer-Obsessed: You have a deep curiosity for the 'why' behind user behavior and use qualitative and quantitative data to build powerful customer personas and insights.
  • See the Big Picture: You understand how brand, product, marketing, and customer support all intersect to create a world-class customer experience.

Core Skills & Experience We're Looking For:

  • Required: Demonstrable experience marketing a Product-Led or SMB-focused SaaS product. Experience in the Shopify or a similar e-commerce ecosystem is a massive plus.
  • Proven ability to take a product to market, showing a portfolio of campaigns with strategic thinking and measurable results (user growth, trial-to-paid conversion, revenue).
  • Hands-on expertise in executing campaigns across key channels, including content marketing/SEO, email marketing automation, social media distribution, and performance marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset to measure what truly matters (e.g., Customer Acquisition Cost, LTV, Activation Rate).
  • Excellent communication skills; you can write compelling copy that converts and clearly articulate strategy to the rest of the team.
  • A degree is not required. We care about what you've done and how you think. Show us your track record.
